New York requires six weeks in two county-designated newspapers. LLC Publishers lists $445 for Niagara County. Through a lower-cost county we do all of it for a flat $349: both newspapers, all six weeks, both affidavits and the state filing, the $50 fee included. Even in Niagara County itself, ours is $399.

Every newly formed New York LLC must publish a Notice of Formation once a week for six successive weeks, in two newspapers designated by the county clerk (one daily, one weekly) and then file a Certificate of Publication with the Department of State, along with a $50 filing fee, within 120 days of formation.
You don't get to shop for cheaper papers. The clerk's designation is the designation, so the price of compliance is simply whatever those two papers charge. The Niagara County Clerk in Lockport designates its two papers. LLC Publishers lists Niagara at $445, a little above the $425 it lists for most upstate counties.
That applies to every LLC whose office on file with the state is in Niagara County, from Niagara Falls, Lockport, North Tonawanda and Lewiston to anywhere else in the county, whatever its mailing address.
Miss the 120 days and your LLC's authority to do business in New York is suspended. It isn't dissolved and your contracts stay valid. The law protects its right to defend itself in court; the right to start a lawsuit is not on that list. Publishing late lifts the suspension completely, with no penalty fee. More on the deadline.

The lower-cost route moves one line in the state's records. Everything about how your business runs stays where it is.

Section 206 keys the publication requirement to the county where your LLC's office is currently designated on file with the Department of State, not to where you personally sit, and not permanently to the county you first formed in. New York expressly allows an LLC to update that designated county, and the state provides the form for doing it.
Once your LLC is designated to a lower-cost county, that county's newspapers are the correct papers to publish in, at its far lower legal-notice rates. It is a recognized, above-board route that established filing services have used for years.
And because publication is one-time and permanent, the end state is identical: your Niagara County LLC finishes fully and permanently compliant with §206, having paid lower-cost county rates instead of Niagara County rates.
How our price compares, and what a low quote often leaves out: cheap LLC publication in New York.
We run the whole thing end to end: the change to a lower-cost county on file with the Department of State, the six-week run in both of its designated papers, both notarized affidavits, and filing your Certificate of Publication with the state, the $50 fee included. You don't need a lawyer, a new physical address, or a registered-agent subscription.
When it's done we file it and email you the receipt. Nothing to mail. That's the last time your LLC ever has to think about publication, backed by our 100% money-back guarantee.
Against the $445 LLC Publishers lists for Niagara County, that's $96 less, for the same two designated papers, six weeks, affidavits and state filing.
